I sought the Lord, and He heard, and He answered. That's why I trusted Him with my path, working for His kingdom in chaplaincy. Jesus orders my steps now, and I am finally free. Before I chose to praise Jesus and leave my broken life on the altar, the paths I took brought me only pain and suffering to myself and those around me. Yet, in those sinful choices, there were always moments of light—moments of grace and holiness. I always heard my Father God whispering to me, my daughter Kristen Marie, that there is a better way when you let me take the lead. God changed my labels and is rewriting my story! Hallelujah. The first time I experienced God's absolute miracle-making was when I gave birth to my wonderful, sweet, and generous sons, Spencer and Samuel. I am married to Charlie, who loves God as well and is stepping into the life he is meant to live. I know the author of all my tomorrows is Jesus Christ, the Son of God who walked that painful Calvary walk, carrying His cross for all of us. His stripes cannot be taken for granted, and I will sing His praises and speak into His transformative Biblical guidance for support in crisis throughout the rest of my earthly days and nights.
